Market updates in real time: On the bourses on Thursday, the benchmark BSE Sensex might reach 61,000 points, while the Nifty could reach 18,200 points, boosted by strong guidance from IT titans Infosys and Wipro.

Furthermore, strong global cues, stable oil prices, and dwindling Covid-19 instances at home will bolster mood. However, some volatility is unavoidable due to weekly F&O expiry and WPI-inflation statistics.

Today's earnings

Today, a total of 21 firms, including HCL Technologies, Cyient, and Den Networks, will release their financial results.

On a year-over-year basis, analysts predict HCL Tech will see double-digit revenue increase of 12 to 13% in Q2FY22. The ramp-up of significant deals obtained in the preceding quarters, they argue, will drive the strong comeback.
